How to Reduce Stress
In our office we see patients and address their stress related issues. We focus on relaxation and stress management. Our special interest is to help our clients with stress, fatigue, concentration difficulties, attention problems.
There are many simple techniques that you can do right now in order to help yourself reduce your stress level:
Yoga.
A group of physical, mental and spiritual practices or disciplines.
Meditation.
A practice where an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness.
Meditation refers to a broad variety of practices that includes techniques design to promote relaxation, build internal energy or life force, and develop compassion, love, patience, generosity, and forgiveness. A particular ambitious form of meditation aims at effortlessly sustained single-pointed concentration meant to enable its practitioner to enjoy an indestructible sense of well-being while engaging in any life activity.
Breathing exercises for relaxation.
There are many breathing techniques that you can find online which is extremely easy to do and very effective.
Massage.
Massage is used to promote relaxation and well-being.
Relaxation music.
Music can have a profound effect on both the emotions and the body. A nice, soft music can quiet your mind, relax your muscle, making you feel soothed while releasing the stress of the day. Music is effective for relaxation and stress management.
Warm relaxing bath.
Some people add their favorite essential oil; Epson salt bath is inexpensive and a terrific aid for relaxation.
Go outside, enjoy nature.
Walking. Walking barefoot on grass or sand (everyone feels extremely good on vacation on the beach).
Dancing.
Reading a nice, interesting book.
Hobby.
