About Me
My name is Larissa Lempert. I am practicing neurologist, certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. I graduated from Stony Brook School of Medicine in 2003. I completed one year of Internal Medicine Internship and three years of Neurology residency at LIJ Hospital on Long Island. After completing my residency, I worked as an attending Neurologist at The Brooklyn Hospital Center.
In spring of 2010, I opened my private practice in Brooklyn Heights. While seen patients in the hospital and in my private practice, I realized that for the past 10 - 15 years a lot of patients come to me stress related problems.
By analyzing patient's data I realized that a significant number of my patients have fatigue, stress, anxiety, sleep problems, concentration problems, and nervousness. I also discovered that young patients in my practice expressed the same concerns as the older patients. More and more patients come with conditions that were much less common before, such as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), chronic fatigue, chronic pain syndrome. Taking all of this into consideration, I decided to focus my practice on helping patients with stress-related problems.
If you feel fatigue, anxiety, have concentration difficulties or attention deficits, just contact my office by phone or email. We can help you relieve your stress and improve all your stress-related symptoms.
